A poem in homage to Jalaluddin Rumi

I took my mind and put it in a jar, put it in a jar, put it in a jar—

I took my “I” and put it in a jar, put it in a jar, put it in a jar—

Then I took the jar and threw it to the earth, threw it to the earth, threw it to the earth—

The jar shattered and the mind was gone—

The jar shattered and the “I” was gone—

And the “I” became All.
